Par mums — the atelier
A young workshop with
old-fashioned patience.
Primeline Baltic — the atelier behind Gultu Ateljē — designs and builds beds in Rīga, one order at a time. No warehouse of identical frames; a bench, a cutting table, and your photograph pinned above it.

“Mēs padarīsim Jūsu sapņus saldākus.”
We’ll make your dreams sweeter — the promise we’ve worked under since the first bed.
The company began in January 2020 with a simple observation: people in Rīga were saving photographs of beds they couldn’t buy anywhere in the Baltics. Imported designer beds cost a fortune; local mass production didn’t do custom. So we built a workshop that does exactly that — conceptual, non-standard beds, personalised to individual wishes.
For the continental line we went further, studying how American manufacturers build this type of bed and adapting their construction for the Baltic market: a sprung base instead of a slatted frame, a mattress and topper above it, and the 65 cm sleeping height hotels use. In a modern world, we like to say, the ability to adapt determines quality of life — a philosophy that applies to furniture too.
The short history
- 2020
SIA Primeline is registered in Rīga and the first upholstered interior beds leave the workshop under the Gultu Ateljē name.
- 2021
The continental line launches, built on construction methods studied with US manufacturers — sprung bases, tall headboards, a 65 cm sleeping height — and priced so base models stay under 1 000 €.
- 2024
The workshop earns a verified 5.0 rating from trade clients and takes on its first hotel projects.
- 2025
Sofas join the catalogue — the same made-to-measure promise, now for the living room.
Three things we won’t compromise
The photo is the brief
Most orders start with a saved image. We take the Pinterest photo seriously — proportions, stitching, height — and tell you honestly what will and won't translate.
Function is agreed, not added
LED lighting, storage bases, chargers: decided at the consultation and built into the frame, never bolted on after.
A small workshop, on purpose
A handful of craftspeople build every bed start to finish. It's why production takes 1–2 months — and why the stitching matches the drawing.
Sadarbība ar dizaineriem — we work with designers.
Interior designers and hotels get trade terms, fabric books on loan, and a direct line to the workshop.
